Fellow Somalians,<\/p>

United we move Somalia forward!<\/p>

In 2025 we begin a new journey to erase the disunity of our nation. It has been years of turmoil and we are boldly coming out of it to restore our freedom and democracy in which we have made significant steps towards building a common vision for our nation.<\/p>

This has been a collective effort by the transitional government to whom we dedicate this manifesto. We anticipate a much better Somalia than where we have been.<\/p>

In the next five years, the SSUP government will work together with all Somalians to do more to create a united nation, fight poverty and unemployment, and to reduce inequality.<\/p>

We believe that in unity we will consolidate the gains already made by the transitional government. More of our people have fallen into extreme poverty; and we have to create more job opportunities than before; knit together our social fabric and provide basic services to our people; and improve access to better education and health care.<\/p>

Our steps to a fresh start just begins.<\/p>

Our struggle is in the first phase, in which we will implement radical socio-economic transformation to meaningfully address poverty, unemployment and inequality.<\/p>

More than ever before, we must unite and work together to promote nation building, unity and social solidarity as we free the economy from the shackles of the past. We cannot rest until the economy is in the hands of the people who have been tormented by instability. Far-reaching economic transformation is the central question this fresh start must answer at the ballot.<\/p>

In this manifesto the SSUP provides clear, bold and decisive answers to this question. Its a result of an inclusive consultation as SSUP carried out workshops in different parts of the country involving communities and key sectors of society including workers, business, religious, youth and women\u2019s organizations and several academics. We will continue to consult as we embark on its implementation.<\/p>

Vote SSUP for it\u2019s the only political movement that can bring change that builds One Somalia for all of us!<\/p>
